Wildflower Gardening Calendar
Working on a wildflower gardening calendar for a powerpoint presentation (10 inches x 7.5 inches). What do you think? Which one do you think is more readable? Thanks for your input!
It took me a while to see any difference. It looks like the background is lighter on the second one, but really they're both perfectly readable. I don't have any particular preference between them.
Hi Barbara,...It's very nice. I like the brighter one because it does seem easier to read. The idea of an easy to understand calender is a great idea,..the timings are just right, even in my garden at 3000feet.
For that last few years I've been growing a CA native wlldflower meadow, now in its fifth year. I do a different experiment each year and it's been so enjoyable to turn a weedy field into something beautiful and natural.
As you are soliciting comments, here are thoughts:
For online viewing, the lighter one. If you were going to print, maybe the darker one with a little more contrast.
For easier readability, you might consider reorienting the type below the mid point so it faces the viewer and the piece does not require rotating to read. That would also be in keeping with the orientation of the photos.
If this is to be a tool used in the field, you could die-cut the piece in a circle.
Thank you, Pamela. Will work on reorienting - not sure how that will look. Right now, I was just playing around with it and had not thought of an "in the field tool." Great to get your thoughts, though.
